Role Overview

An opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a senior leadership role within a specialist design environment focused on structured cabling and network infrastructure across data centre and commercial projects.

This position is responsible for leading multiple project teams, ensuring high-quality technical delivery, and maintaining strong commercial oversight. The role combines strategic leadership, client engagement, and technical expertise, with a focus on delivering complex projects for high-profile corporate clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the delivery of multiple telecommunications and infrastructure design projects across commercial and data centre environments.

• Manage and support project teams, providing technical leadership and acting as a senior escalation point where required.

• Ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and client specifications.

• Maintain ownership of project financial performance, including P&L responsibility, forecasting, and cost control.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring a high level of service and repeat business opportunities.

• Contribute to strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational improvements within the business.

• Review technical designs and ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.

• Support business development activities where required, including client meetings and proposal input.

Candidate Requirements

• Extensive experience (10+ years) within telecommunications or network infrastructure design, particularly within corporate or enterprise environments.

• Proven track record delivering structured cabling or related infrastructure projects for large-scale commercial offices or headquarters.

• Experience working with major global financial institutions or similarly complex, high-standard client environments.

• Demonstrated experience managing multiple teams and projects simultaneously.

• Strong technical background, with the ability to provide guidance and act as an escalation point.

• Commercially aware, with experience managing project budgets and financial performance.

• Professional certification such as RCDD, CDCDP, or equivalent is highly desirable.

• Comfortable working in a remote or distributed team environment.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
