Teaching Personnel are currently working in partnership with a number of well-regarded secondary schools across Liverpool to recruit passionate and committed Secondary School Teachers for a range of permanent and long-term positions.

The Role
As a Secondary School Teacher, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and Key Stage 5 where applicable). You will play a key role in fostering a positive learning culture, supporting student progress, and contributing to the wider school community.
While responsibilities will vary depending on the school and subject specialism, all roles provide the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic achievement and personal development.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons in line with the national curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of students of varying abilities
Monitor and assess student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistent standards of teaching and learning
Support students in preparation for assessments and examinations
Contribute to departmental planning, meetings, and wider school activities
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Has experience teaching secondary-aged students (all subject areas considered)
Demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills
Has recent UK school-based experience
Is adaptable, professional, and committed to high standards
Is dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
Holds an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or is willing to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
