Responsibilities
* Implement and maintain service standards across key departments and wards.
* Undertake day‑to‑day ordering activity on behalf of the customer, in line with agreed protocols.
* Ensure customer’s requirements are always met in the most cost‑effective way possible, ensuring continuity of supplies.
* Carry out quarterly reviews with appropriate ward/departmental leads, using system information to illustrate spending patterns.
* Regular customer contact to ensure stock levels and the range of products held are reviewed, reflect activity and are updated in agreement with the customer.
* Assist in value‑for‑money studies to contribute to savings set targets and regularly report spend/saving activity.
* Receive, check and put away all deliveries; ensure items are rotated, stored in the correct location and store areas are left tidy.
* Process and monitor discrepancies, ensuring that returns and credits are processed appropriately.
Requirements
You will need to be strong‑willed, numerate and a great communicator with a close eye for detail.
