West London Children's Healthcare (WLCH) is recruiting three Band 7 Paediatric Asthma Clinical Nurse Specialists, one post allocated to each site across the WLCH Network.

Responsibilities
The Paediatric Asthma Clinical Nurse Specialist will lead and deliver high‑quality, specialist asthma care for children and young people across North West London, working autonomously within the paediatric respiratory multidisciplinary team. The role involves managing a complex caseload, undertaking advanced clinical assessments, developing personalised management plans, and coordinating care across acute, community and primary care settings. With a strong focus on reducing health inequalities, the post holder will support children from deprived and underserved communities, aligning practice with NICE guidance, BTS/SIGN asthma guidelines, NHS England standards, and NWL Integrated Care System priorities. The post holder will play a key role in service development and population health initiatives, including Core20PLUS5 for children and young people, helping to reduce avoidable exacerbations and unplanned hospital attendances. The role also includes contributing to audits, using service data to drive improvement, and ensuring asthma pathways are accessible, equitable, and responsive to local need.
Additional Information
Employment is subject to a six‑month probation. Some roles may require weekend shifts at multiple sites.
