Due to the continued growth we are now looking for an experienced Mechanical Site Manager in Chichester.
This role reports to the Project/Contracts Manager and will involve liaising daily with suppliers Site Supervisors Project Managers EHSQ Advisors and Subcontractors.
Main duties:
* Oversee the installation commissioning and maintenance of mechanical building services.
* Ensure all relevant permits are in place.
* Conduct inspections and tests to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
* Liaise with main contractors and the client-based site team.
* Ensure on-site delivery and compliance of EHSQ RAMS PPE etc.
* On-site coordination of plant hire tools and labour.
* Oversee and manage labour and subcontractors.
* Manage relevant external correspondence.
* Order all day-to-day site materials.
* Update appropriate information to progress report.
* Maintaining K&M Document Management System.
* Manage project-specific scheduling.
* Communicate changes to the Project team.
* Maintain project quality reporting and monitoring.
Qualifications :
* Relevant trade qualifications in or further education qualification mechanical building services
* Minimum of 5 years experience
* Previous experience in a Mechanical Supervisor/Manager or similar role
* People management experience
* Project Management experience beneficial
* Computer literate with exceptional interpersonal skills
* Willingness to do some travel if/when required
