Manage Customer projects, develop methods, tools, and processes to manage customer programs from NPI to delivery. Identify continuous improvements throughout all departments and communicating to customers and internal stakeholders on WIP progress.
Main Key Responsibilities:
· Solving Production and Quality related issues.
· Determining the most effective and economical method of manufacture whilst meeting customer/drawing requirements.
· Compilation of process planning for defined projects where required. Working in conjunction with Process and AM Engineers, defining requirements to enable manufacture.
· Assist/advise on the introduction of new products, and/or modifications to existing products and processes.
· Assist in the definition of manufacturing and equipment requirements.
· Provide support for the introduction of new facilities and equipment.
· Assist and advise on the implementation and reporting of key projects and/or continuous improvement programmes, within a defined area.
· Be a key interface with a number of internal and external bodies at all levels encompassing both direct and indirect employees.
· Address all tasks in line with the Quality Management System.
· Make points of contact with external representatives including suppliers, consultants and controlling authorities within guidelines set by relevant departments e.g. Commercial or Engineering.
Languages, Qualifications & Experience:
· Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or HNC/HND
· Manufacturing Engineering experience and knowledge of Hard Metal finishing/machining,
· Worked in an organisation that has experienced change.
· Experience of diverse functions (Operations, Production, Sales/Customer relationship management, Supplier management and development.
· English (business fluent) – other languages beneficial.
