DVLA Enforcement Officer

Here at NSL we provide outsourced business services to the public and private sectors, including comprehensive parking and street management solutions. Our Enforcement Officers remove untaxed vehicles on behalf of the DVLA and play an essential role in maintaining compliance.


What does a DVLA Enforcement Officer do?

* Liaises with members of the public and gives advice regarding clamping and fines.
* Advises the public on payment methods and other issues regarding enforcement action taken on their vehicle.
* Works alongside other agencies when required, including Police, DVLA, and VOSA.
* Deals with enquiries from the public regarding enforcement action and ensures the relevant information packs are available.
* Ensures all vehicles and enforcement equipment are serviced and fit for purpose, reporting faults to the Manager.
* Completes daily reports regarding activities.
* Clamps and removes untaxed vehicles.


What do you need to be a DVLA Enforcement Officer?

* Full UK driving licence.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Self‑motivated.
* Customer focused.
* Ability to work shifts and on own initiative.
* Previous experience in a similar role would be ideal but is not essential.
* Capacity to carry out manual handling and heavy lifting tasks safely.
