Job Description
We are hiring experienced Panel Beaters to join our Bodyshop team. The role involves repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to manufacturer and workshop standards while maintaining efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out high-standard panel beating and body repair work.
* Ensure first-time accuracy on all repairs to maintain productivity.
* Assess vehicle damage and prepare vehicles for repair.
* Remove, repair, and refit damaged panels and trims.
* Repair dents, holes, and corroded areas of bodywork.
* Strip and refit panels, trims, lights, and minor components as part of the repair process.
* Record materials used and time spent on jobs in line with company policies.
* Report additional repair requirements to the Bodyshop Supervisor/Manager.
* Maintain consistent quality even under pressure.
Requirements
Knowledge:
* Body repair techniques: welding, filling, pulling, realignment.
* Modern vehicle structures and materials (aluminum, high-strength steel).
* Vehicle manufacturer standards and health & safety procedures.
Skills:
* Panel replacement, dent removal, jig work, welding, body alignment.
* Use of body repair tools/equipment (MIG welders, spot welders, body jigs).
* Ability to interpret repair estimates and damage assessments.
* Restoring structural integrity and cosmetic finish.
* Stripping and refitting panels, trims, lights, and small components.
Personal Attributes:
