My client is seeking an assistant editor to join the team responsible for producing RadCom publications and managing its news desk.
The successful candidate will be involved in magazine production, sub-editing, writing articles, and planning content. They will be a key member of the editorial team, working closely with and being managed by the RadCom Managing Editor.

Role responsibilities include:
* Commissioning articles and liaising with authors
* Sub-editing contributions from writers and columnists
* Guiding content for RadCom Basics and RadCom Plus supplements
* Participating in creating a weekly news script
* Addressing queries related to technical and amateur radio licensing
* Developing the RadCom portfolio, including exploring new media opportunities
Candidate requirements:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
* Experience with Adobe InDesign and Photoshop is highly desirable
* Positive attitude, enthusiasm for technology, and excellent English skills
* Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Knowledge of radio and electronics, including amateur radio, is advantageous
