With ambitious growth plans, we are looking for a Social Media Assistant to join our Social Media team. You will work closely with our Head of Social Media, to assist in the creation and admin of all social media, influencer and brand output across our Stripe and Stare social channels. The role would be suitable for someone who eats, sleeps, breathes the world of social media, and wants to experience working in a fast-paced fashion environment.
SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT
The Role:
* Work with the Head of Social Media to research, plan, create, and schedule content across all social channels.
* Create high-quality, on-brand visual and written content – including Reels, Stories, TikToks, and static posts.
* Own the day-to-day management of our social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms).
* Work closely with our Head of Social Media, in-house design and photography teams to ensure consistent visual identity and tone of voice.
* Support on the planning of social shoots and wider brand campaign shoots.
* Monitor trends, platform updates, and industry news to keep our content fresh, engaging, and ahead of the curve.
* Engage with our community daily – responding to DMs, comments, and brand mentions, and building relationships with influencers and ambassadors.
* Manage the influencer gifting program and work closely with the Gifting Assistant to ensure all gifting is completed and sent out to a high standard.
* Support the Head of Social Media with execution of the influencer strategy across macro, micro, mega and VIP talent
* Work with the Head of Social Media to manage the affiliate influencer platform,, Shopmy.
* Work closely with the marketing team to support on campaigns
* Update influencer and VIP databases regularly. Spot and engage new and current talent.
The Candidate:
* Experience in social media is essential, whether it be for personal or brand – preferably in fashion, lifestyle, or beauty.
* A strong aesthetic sense and a love for beautiful content.
* Proficient in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
* Confident in creating and editing short-form video content for Instagram Reels and TikTok.
* Strong copywriting skills with a natural flair for the Stripe & Stare tone of voice – fun, cheeky, inclusive, and empowering.
* Up-to-date with the latest social trends, platform algorithms, and influencer culture.
* Passionate about sustainability, female empowerment, and ethical fashion.
* Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
* An understanding of the PR and Influencer landscape within the fashion industry
* Great team player, communicator and problem solver

Start Date: Early July or as soon as possible

Location: Shepherd's Bush, London
Schedule: Monday - Friday with 3 days in the office
* A portfolio or examples of content you’ve created can be for your own channels or another brand. Any examples of campaigns you have worked on is a bonus.
