Our client, specialist manufacturer with a multi site operation across Oxfordshire, is seeking a hard working and process driven Health and Safety Coordinator to join a growing team.
Reporting to the H&S Manager, the role forms part of a team whose purpose is to maintain compliance with H&S legislation across the business and implement measures to ensure a safe working environment.
Health and Safety Coordinator key responsibilities:
* Uphold and champion excellent Health and Safety standards within a dynamic, evolving business landscape
* Collaborate with production and engineering departments to analyse intricate workflows and establish appropriate safety protocols
* Develop and revise organizational risk evaluations, operational procedures, documentation, safety signage, and policy frameworks
* Coordinate employee training programs through internal resources or external training specialists
* Schedule and manage compliance audits conducted by both internal teams and external assessors
* Oversee inventory management of personal protective equipment
* Maintain current records and documentation for safety equipment servicing and maintenance
* Conduct incident and near-miss investigations, implementing corrective measures
* Identify and pursue ongoing enhancement opportunities within safety management systems and processes
