We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our client’s supportive and dynamic team. This is a key role within a fast-paced environment, contributing directly to the continued success of the business.
Location: Horsforth, Leeds
Salary: £35,000 per annum + excellent benefits, including 23 days annual leave (increasing with service) plus bank holidays, a generous company bonus, and more.
As a Buyer, you will be responsible for managing all pricing requests from the sales department in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage quotations and ensure the best possible pricing is achieved
* Assist with tender submissions
* Review quotations to identify opportunities to utilise stocked products
* Negotiate pricing with suppliers
* Liaise closely with the sales team, providing regular updates on quotes and orders
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in a Buyer role (5+ years)
* Excellent knowledge of procurement processes
* Strong negotiation skills
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities
* Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Strong communication skills
