Job Description:
Synechron is looking for a Senior .NET Engineer to join their Engineering and AI Practice to work on a multi-year AI programme within a leading financial institution.
The role involves delivering a robust and reliable product that acts as a single-stop solution for document management and storage across IB.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and test new user-facing features
* Maintain systems by identifying and correcting software defects
* Participate in requirement analysis and definition
* Create technical specifications and unit test plans
* Build reusable code and libraries for future use
* Collaborate with team members and stakeholders
* Work with QA to develop system test plans
* Deliver high-quality code with a 'right first time' approach
* Participate in planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
Experience:
* 8+ years in all phases of software development
* Strong knowledge of the .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML5, CSS3, ReactJS, Redux, WebPack
* Experience with Azure cloud applications using C#, .NET Core
* Front-end frameworks (ReactJS, etc)
* Development of REST WebAPIs
* Writing Unit Tests using MS Test or nUnit
* Understanding of Agile methodology
Preferred Skills:
* Knowledge of SAST tools like HP Fortify, SonarQube, and CI integration
* Understanding of IaaS, PaaS, SaaS models in Azure
* Knowledge of CI/CD processes
This is a multi-year project with a flexible start date, competitive rates, based in London (x3 days in office), available as FTE or Contract.
