We have an exciting opportunity for a Diabetes & Endocrinology Consultant Consultant to work with an NHS Trust in the North West area. This full-time locum position is based in an acute setting across two sites, with proposed working hours of Monday to Friday - 0900 - 1700.
Responsibilities include:
- Inpatient ward Consultant cover for 15 patients on SSU (on ward/off ward monthly arrangement).
- Participates in the General Medicine Consultant on-call rota.
- Supports with PTWR/evening PTWR additional shifts (approximately 4 per month).
- Consultant of the day cover; responding to specialty reviews/ERS referrals, and Advice & Guidance requests.
- When off ward, Consultant covers 5 outpatient clinics per week, and 3 outpatient clinics when on ward.
The role is set to begin ASAP and will last for 3 months initially, offering an hourly rate of £105 - £115 per hour. Please note that this position is inside IR35.
To be eligible, you must have GMC, UK experience, and right to work in the UK.
