The Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) role within Provide Community Equipment is varied and involves clinical, operational and administrative responsibilities. The post holder works within a clearly defined scope of practice and governance framework and is accountable to the Clinical Lead.
The role supports both the specialist service and the main service. The OTA provides clinical, technical and operational support across Provide Community Equipment (PCE), with a particular focus on the ordering, processing and governance of specialist equipment, as well as supporting risk management across the wider service.
