What we are looking for We are looking for a Repairs Planner to join us in our Repairs and Maintenance Team in the Housing Directorate. About the role Repairs and Maintenance is a busy part of the wider Housing Directorate, and we are looking for someone who can bring exceptional organisation, communication, processing and Microsoft skills to the team. As a Repairs Planner, you will take responsibility for the planning and scheduling of resources to deliver repairs and maintenance for our residents. You will schedule/allocate repair works to our trades team, booking appointments with tenants and raising repair jobs in our Housing Maintenance System. As part of a small team of planners, you will provide an exceptional resource planning service to our residents, providing them with prompt, professional and accurate information, conducting outbound calls to update on the progress of service requests and ensure that information is updated accurately on the appropriate systems. About you We are looking for an efficient Administrator and, although not essential, experience of working within the social housing sector would be of benefit, along with: knowledge/experience of using Dynamic scheduling system is preferred, however training can be provided for the right person strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy and reactive workload a positive and flexible attitude the ability to demonstrate reliability, initiative, and the ability to work as part of a team and on your own proficient IT knowledge and understanding a good standard of education with a GCSE (or equivalent) in English and mathematics at Grade C/4 or above and the ability to demonstrate suitable work experience necessary for delivering the role. This role is really suited to someone who will strive for continual improvement and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and providing high quality, safe homes for the thousands of residents and families that we serve. You will be based at our Great Wenham Depot, therefore a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
