Pertemps is thrilled to be working in partnership with Royal Mail, the UK's most iconic delivery service, to recruit HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for their busy Plymouth Distribution Centre this festive season.
As part of the Royal Mail fleet, you'll be trunking parcels and letters between depots nationwide - no multi-drop, no heavy lifting, just straightforward trunking in clean, well-maintained vehicles. With shifts planned a week in advance and guaranteed pay, it's a great way to earn extra money in the run-up to Christmas!

What you'll be doing:
12. Trunking mail and parcels between Royal Mail depots across the UK
13. Operating Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally
14. Following drivers' hours and WTD regulations
15. Completing digital tachograph entries accurately
16. Representing Royal Mail with pride and professionalism
What we need from you:
17. Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence held for a minimum of 1 year
18. Minimum 180 days' proven commercial driving experience
19. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential
20. No more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR/IN/CD/TT endorsements)
21. Strong geographical knowledge & a professional attitude
22. Willingness to complete a DBS security check
23. Successful completion of site assessment & induction before starting
