Role - Year 6 Teacher
Start Date – September 2025
Schedule – Full time
Location – Runcorn (WA7)
Pay: £125 - £232.56 per day (depending on experience)
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Year 6 Teacher to join a dedicated and forward-thinking primary school situated in Runcorn. The school serves a close-knit community and is known for its inclusive values, strong pastoral support, and high expectations for all learners. With a warm, supportive atmosphere and a strong sense of teamwork among staff, the school is committed to ensuring every child feels valued and is given the opportunity to thrive both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will lead learning in Year 6, preparing pupils for the transition to secondary school and supporting them through their final year of primary education. A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and SATs expectations is essential, along with the ability to inspire and motivate pupils through creative and effective teaching.
The ideal candidate:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience teaching in Year 6 – ideal but not essential
Excellent organisational, communication and classroom management skills.
Enthusiasm and a growth mindset.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
