Electro-Mechanical AssemblerLocation: High Wycombe
Salary: £28,000
Position OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Electro-Mechanical Assembler to join our clients production team. You will be responsible for the precise assembly of electro-mechanical components and systems in line with engineering documentation, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler
* Assemble electro-mechanical components using hand tools (e.g., cutters, crimpers, screwdrivers) and soldering irons, following work instructions, engineering drawings, and verbal guidance.
* Complete tasks efficiently while adhering to the company's Quality Management System (QMS).
* Communicate effectively with cell supervisors about work progress, delays, and quality issues.
* Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace, following 5S, health & safety, and environmental policies.
* Participate in training for additional equipment or processes as needed.
* Perform other related tasks, including non-product-specific assignments.
Qualifications & Skills as an Electro-Mechanical Assembler
* Strong communication and time management skills.
* Ability to accurately interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
* Skilled in the use of basic hand tools and soldering equipment.
* Experience using measurement tools such as voltmeters, continuity testers, force gauges, micrometres, and vernier callipers.
* Basic computer literacy, including Microsoft Word, Excel, or equivalent applications.
