Join Our Team as a Female Support Worker - Driver's Only
Location: Seaford, East Sussex
Salary: £12.60 per hour (£24,570 per annum) plus benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, shifts vary between 7:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday to Sunday (on a shift rota basis).
Contract: Full-time, Permanent.
Driving Requirement: A valid full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.
Right to Work: Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. We are unable to offer skilled worker visas.
Who you will be Supporting
Barclay House is a purpose-built residential home for adults with disabilities, specialising in supporting individuals with sight loss. It is a vibrant community where residents engage in activities like cooking, arts and crafts, and other activities that celebrate their individuality.
The team is committed to person-centred support, focusing on understanding and supporting each person's unique needs and choices. With strong local connections and enthusiastic volunteers, Barclay House fosters an inclusive and supportive environment.
Essential Criteria
To be considered, you should demonstrate experience in at least two of the following areas:
* Visual Impairments
* Autism
* Learning Disabilities
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence

If you enjoy making a difference, have a calm, caring, and resilient nature, and can handle challenging situations, we want to hear from you! Experience in supporting individuals with complex needs and a manual UK driving license are essential.
What You Will Be Doing
* Daily Care & Support: Assisting with personal care, meals, medication, and daily tasks.
* Building Relationships: Getting to know residents, understanding their needs, and supporting their independence.
* Empowering Independence: Supporting personal goals and encouraging creative and social activities.
* Respect & Dignity: Ensuring respectful and dignified support for residents and their families.
