Teaching Assistant Grade 3 : SCP 4-6 £25,185 to £25,989 (pro rata) Temporary, part time, term time only plus 2 weeks 5 mornings a week (16 hours) Required from 20th April 2026 until 31st March 2027 We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated practitioner to join our school in extending our provision to include 2-year-olds. The role will require you to be flexible and be able to support across the EYFS setting, according to needs. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience of working in an EYFS team, including 2-year-old provision and can nurture, inspire and motivate Foundation Stage pupils. • Has had experience of working with 2-year-olds. • Holds or is willing to undertake a Paediatric First Aid certificate. • Has the knowledge, understanding and skills to support the EYFS team and be proactive in the 2-Year-Old provision. • Has good numeracy, literacy, IT and communication skills. • Has a good working knowledge of the statutory requirements in early years foundation stage. •. Ensures daily routines are maintained in a safe, stimulating and creative setting and helps to provide rich experiences to enable our children to become effective learners. • Is resourceful, enthusiastic and keen to ensure that the highest possible standards of pupil achievement, well-being and personal development are achieved. • Is committed to promoting the school’s inclusive values and ethos. Term time only plus two additional weeks’ pay is calculated on the basis of the following: • Number of ‘teaching’ weeks – 38 weeks; plus • Public (bank) holidays – 1.6 weeks (8 days); plus • Two additional weeks, inclusive of CPD – 2 weeks; plus • Individual leave entitlement - 5.4 weeks (27 days) or 6.4 weeks (32 days) Individual leave entitlement is calculated on the length of continuous service. Employees with less than 5 years’ service will receive 27 days annual leave. Employees with more than 5 years’ service will receive 32 days annual leave.
