Our manufacturing facilities are central to our success, focusing on continuous improvement, innovation, and high standards. We are seeking a SHEQ Compliance Leader to join our team at the Falkirk site.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) compliance across the site, ensuring adherence to internal standards and external regulations. Your responsibilities include monitoring compliance, managing policies and procedures, supporting environmental planning, overseeing external contractors, leading investigations, and driving continuous site improvements in SHEQ areas.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
1. Certificate level training (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate, IEMA Environmental Management)
2. Experience in a medium/large manufacturing or quarrying environment
3. Knowledge of current Safety and Environmental legislation
4. Experience with audits and corrective actions
5. Experience with quality management systems and process control
6. Managing customer complaints and supplier non-conformances
7. Excellent communication skills
8. Problem-solving skills, e.g., root cause analysis (advantageous)
