About the role We’re searching for a Investment Operations Analyst to join our Asset Onboarding team, within our Investment Operations department. You will assist the team in ensuring we deliver great outcomes to our users by ensuring our asset data is maintained to a high standard and new asset requests are managed in line with our policies, liaising with external fund managers as required to achieve this. Asset static data is critical to the smooth and efficient operation of the platform impacting multiple areas, the role is primarily within the data team but we encourage you to get a wider view of the operation, so you will also gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle of the platform, including trading, dividends or corporate actions. This is an exciting and fast paced role. You’ll have an eye for detail and enthusiasm for finding ways to do things better, highlighting where a control could be improved and aid the design and implementation of this to ensure we best service the needs of our clients and safeguard our clients’ money. You’ll need to understand the consequences of all actions and manage these in line with our risk framework. You’re the type of person who asks great questions to understand expectations but can react like lightening to solve problems as they occur. We’ve always placed more importance on cultural contribution above technical ability, but we’d really like you to have/be: Previous experience in the financial services industry and ideally working with a wrap platform Understanding of the trading process, from execution through to settlement and reconciliation.
