Safari Play is an award-winning family- run business who are looking for a new Duty Manager to be a big part of running the venue. It is busy, fun and highly varied role. Even better the latest you will finish is 8.30pm (other than a few events a year)

We have an extremely exciting role available for a proactive team player with excellent people skills and high operational standards to be a Duty Manager.
Supporting the Operations Manager, you will lead and be responsible for staff on-shift and the day-to-day operations of Safari Play. We need someone with superb attention to detail, a passion for delivering great customer service and of course a love of seeing people have fun. Can you think on your feet, thrive under pressure, and of course enjoy having fun at work?
The right individual will take a hands-on approach to deliver a first class service and be able to work under their own initiative to 'get things done'. A desire to keep learning and help wherever needed will fit well with our company ethos and experience in management is advantageous. Being a busy centre with a variety of tasks being undertaken is beneficial for managers to be able to think quickly and remain calm under pressure.
Key responsibilities of the job include –
* Daily Management
* Be able to make decisions in a fast-paced environment and enjoy it
* Fantastic customer service skills and standards driven
* Stock ordering
* Good computer skills
* Opening and closing of the site and managing the centre during the day
* Ensure all health and safety and Food Hygiene standards are maintained

This vacancy is on either a part time or full time contract, on a permanent basis and does require weekend work.
