Job Title: Design & Technology (DT) Teacher

Pay Rate: £130 – £251+ per day (depending on experience)

GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated DT Teacher to join a welcoming school in Nottingham. This exciting opportunity allows you to deliver inspiring lessons across Key Stages, helping pupils develop technical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities in a supportive learning environment.
As a DT Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Planning and delivering engaging lessons across a range of DT specialisms (e.g., Resistant Materials, Graphics, Product Design, or Food Technology).
* Encouraging creativity, independence, and innovation in student projects.
* Using a variety of teaching methods and resources to meet diverse learning needs.
* Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and preparing pupils for examinations.
* Promoting safe and effective use of equipment, tools, and resources in the workshop or classroom.
* Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment where students can thrive.
Requirements for DT Teacher:
* UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential.
* Specialism or teaching experience in Design & Technology subjects.
* Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
* Creativity and a genuine passion for inspiring young learners.
* An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
* A full CV covering the last 10 years of employment, with explanations for any gaps.
