A specialist Civil Piling Contractor with a £200 million yearly turnover are seeking a Site Engineer to assist in the day to day running of the South West piling department including; design, estimating, planning, procurement, client liaison, assisting in day to day technical issues. Such duties will be reviewed and increased, over time, in line with the candidate’s natural development and career progression.
Responsibilities
* Pile Design
* Estimating
* Reviewing enquiries and printing documents
* Carrying out site visits
* Liaison with clients
* Attending meetings with clients
* Preparation of designs for construction issue
* Ensure compliance with QA procedures, Health & Safety, and statutory requirements
* Liaison with other members of staff and departments
* Handover of projects and assisting the operation team
* Assistance with restricted access projects
