We are seeking to recruit a Junior trainee insurance claims handler to join our team based in Maidenbower, Crawley. The company encourages teamwork, communication, peer training and career progression.
We require someone with a good standard of education, ideally with some experience of dealing with customers and the ability to develop customer relationships, though full in-house training will be provided.
Some insurance experience and/or foreign language skills would be an advantage, but this is not essential.
It is vital that you have excellent communication skills and telephone manner, as well as a working knowledge of computer applications.
You should be able to demonstrate that you are willing to utilise individual initiative whilst working as part of a team dedicated to providing excellent service to all parties involved in the claims.
Basic DBS and Credit checks required in accordance with FCA requirements.
Role is based fully in our Crawley office, with the option of hybrid work to be considered after probation period of 6 months.
The role involves:
* processing new claim notifications for a palletised network, and dealing with them from start to finish
* assessing the quantum and liability limits,
* collecting accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim,
* liaising with the customers mainly via email,
* accurate recording of claim data in the claims management system,
* maintaining a diary system,
* provide advice on making a claim and the processes involved
