About the role
This role will be primarily Liverpool based but occasional travel to our Head Office in Cambridge will be required.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Improvement Specialist with a proven track record in ERP implementation within a process manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of process improvement methodologies, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive organizational change and efficiency.
* ERP Implementation: Lead and participate in all phases of the ERP implementation project with specific focus on planning, requirements gathering, global design documentation and testing.
* Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies for optimization and automation.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization by implementing best practices, standardizing processes, and fostering a culture of innovation.
* Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure successful adoption of new processes and technologies.
* Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with stakeholders across departments, including IT, operations, finance, and supply chain, to align process improvement initiatives with business objectives.
* Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
About you
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in business process improvement with a focus on ERP implementation
* Proven experience with ERP systems such as Oracle Fusion (preferred), SAP or MS Dynamics.
* Strong understanding of process manufacturing principles.
* Expertise in process improvement methodologies
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
* Project management/ Continuous Improvement certification (e.g., Lean/ Six Sigma Black Belt) is a plus.
Background Checks
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will need to complete background checks including a DBS check and 5 years’ employment/educational references - these will need to be completed before the successful candidate can start the role.
