Role Overview
As Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in Nottingham and the surrounding area. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, recognition, and support to drive territory performance.
Your focus will be on winning new business while also nurturing existing accounts. You'll be selling a proven and in-demand product, engaging with multi-academy trusts, schools, contract caterers, buying groups, and NHS sites.
This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and driven individual with foodservice sales experience to develop their career in a high-growth, values-driven business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Generate new business in line with targets (2 new business appointments per week).
2. Manage a territory of 100-150 existing clients, with 2-3 visits per year per account.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, contract caterers, and healthcare providers.
4. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and tastings to decision-makers.
5. Proactively self-source leads through networking and territory knowledge.
6. Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on pipeline and performance.
Requirements
7. 2 years' experience in foodservice sales.
8. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
9. Energetic, driven, and motivated to prove success in a competitive market.
10. Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
11. Ability to manage both new business development and account management.
12. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.
