Business Manager - Nottingham
£35,000 - £40,000 basic + car + uncapped commission (OTE £50k+ realistic, top performers £70k+)

The organisation has around 20% market share within education and healthcare catering, with clear growth ambitions and a strong pipeline of opportunity.

Role Overview

As Business Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of clients in Nottingham and the surrounding area. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, recognition, and support to drive territory performance.

Your focus will be on winning new business while also nurturing existing accounts. You'll be selling a proven and in-demand product, engaging with multi-academy trusts, schools, contract caterers, buying groups, and NHS sites.

This is an excellent opportunity for an energetic and driven individual with foodservice sales experience to develop their career in a high-growth, values-driven business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Generate new business in line with targets (2 new business appointments per week).
2. Manage a territory of 100-150 existing clients, with 2-3 visits per year per account.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, colleges, contract caterers, and healthcare providers.
4. Deliver engaging product demonstrations and tastings to decision-makers.
5. Proactively self-source leads through networking and territory knowledge.
6. Maintain accurate reporting and provide regular updates on pipeline and performance.

Requirements

7. 2 years' experience in foodservice sales.
8. Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
9. Energetic, driven, and motivated to prove success in a competitive market.
10. Strong relationship-building and presentation skills.
11. Ability to manage both new business development and account management.
12. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the territory.

The Package

13. Basic salary £35,000 - £40,000
14. Hybrid company car
15. Uncapped commission structure (OTE £50k+, top performers significantly higher)
