Role Overview
In addition to contributing an investment of USD 250,000, the Co-Founder & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the company’s financial architecture, capital strategy, governance framework, and IPO readiness journey in the UK and global markets.
The role is designed for a strategic financial leader with strong experience in fundraising, valuation growth, and scaling high-growth technology or fintech-driven businesses.
Key Roles & Responsibilities (KRAs)
1. Capital Raising & Valuation Strategy
o Align the company’s long-term capital strategy with a clear pathway toward IPO readiness by 2030.
o Oversee investor relations, ensuring transparent communication, effective engagement, and strong stakeholder confidence.
o Lead and coordinate financial due diligence processes with existing and prospective investors.
o Deliver accurate, timely, and board-level financial reporting to support strategic decision-making and valuation growth.
2. Financial Planning & Capital Management
o Develop 3–5 year financial forecasts aligned with strategic growth objectives.
o Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow optimization.
o Monitor key financial KPIs, unit economics, and profitability performance.
o Ensure efficient capital allocation to maximise valuation growth and operational scalability.
3. Governance & Compliance
o Establish institutional-grade financial governance frameworks aligned with UK regulatory standards.
o Ensure full compliance with applicable financial, tax, and corporate governance requirements.
o Oversee audit readiness, reporting standards, and financial controls.
o Build financial infrastructure aligned with future public listing requirements (IPO).
4. Strategic Leadership & Board Collaboration
o Work closely with the CEO and Board of Directors on strategic growth initiatives.
o Provide financial oversight for partnerships, acquisitions, and global expansion.
o Support investor negotiations and valuation positioning.
o Contribute to long-term capital markets strategy and IPO planning.
5. Performance Review & Incentives
o Performance will be reviewed periodically by the Board of Directors.
o Exceptional performance may be rewarded through bonuses, additional equity, or long-term incentive structures aligned with fundraising and valuation milestones.
