20Twenty Search is retained by a fast-growing ILS firm seeking to hire their first cyber specialist to drive business in this expanding area of interest to capital markets participants. Our client aims to hire an experienced Cyber Underwriter or Broker with some exposure to ILS or Reinsurance, though candidates with direct insurance experience demonstrating a strong interest in ILS and capital markets will also be considered.
The role involves joining an already successful ILS team that originates business worldwide and building a multi-year pipeline of cyber opportunities with cedents. The candidate will effectively communicate and structure these deals for capital markets players seeking to diversify their ILS investment portfolio. This market-facing role requires deep technical experience in the cyber market, along with strong communication and sales skills. It's a rare opportunity for entrepreneurial candidates to join a well-capitalized and growing business, providing access to the intersection of reinsurance, ILS, and capital markets.
