ORB Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Part Time Accounts & Admin Manager to work with our client who is an established construction company, with work taking place in the Dinnington area (S25). Role: Candidates will be completing the following tasks. Experience working with company finances and accounts including but not limited to invoicing, reconciling accounts, processing payments, staff wages, VAT Returns, maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts and aged debt. Managing and updating all aspects of accounting. Responsible for issuing purchase order numbers to subcontractors and updating the relevant PO logs utilised within our company as well as the procurement of materials, insurances, training, and the like. Staff holiday records will need to be recorded and updated regularly via our internal system as well as transferring staff wages and overtime records on a monthly basis to our external accountancy company. Vehicles/Staff/ Tools will all require regular training and servicing with guidance from our project and maintenance managers; these aspects will need to be managed in line with the relevant regulations to ensure the company is compliant at all times. Requirements: To be considered for this role candidates will need to show the following. Be able to work independently and manage your own work load Positive working attitude with a strong work ethic Minimum 5 years working with accounts Depth of knowledge and experience using Sage Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel Experience working with Wages, VAT Returns Experience working within the field of construction is preferred but by no means essential Strong IT Skills Ability to be adaptive to new responsibilities and tasks Create and update bespoke systems of work to improve efficiencies within the existing company Independently analyse and interpret company performance on profit and expenditure for boardroom meetings Demonstrate reliability with a strong attendance record Key skills required within the role are a strong understanding of Sage accounting software and Microsoft excel, candidates will need to demonstrate training or experience within these fields to be deemed suitable.
