YMCA Northumberland is seeking a volunteer with marketing and communications expertise to help us develop a practical strategy to better tell our story, increase our visibility and strengthen our impact supporting young people and communities across Northumberland.

We are looking for someone with experience in marketing, communications or brand strategy who can help translate ideas into a practical plan for a small charity. Experience developing communications strategies, messaging and audience engagement would be valuable. We are also looking for someone collaborative and supportive who can work alongside our team and help build our confidence to deliver the strategy going forward.

What will you be doing?
We are seeking a volunteer to work with our small team to develop a practical marketing and communications strategy. The volunteer will review our current activity, help define key audiences and messages, recommend appropriate channels and create a realistic plan we can deliver. We would also value guidance that builds the team’s confidence and capacity to implement the strategy once the volunteer’s involvement ends.
