The Team The Global HRIS Manager (Workday) is responsible for leading, maintaining, and continuously improving the Company’s global HR technology ecosystem. This role provides strategic and operational ownership of Workday across multiple countries, ensuring the platform is scalable, compliant, and aligned with global and regional business priorities. The role requires deep Workday expertise, strong analytical capability, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different cultures and time zones. This position leads the day‑to‑day administration, optimisation, and governance of Workday and associated HR technology, ensuring data integrity, process harmonisation, excellent user experience, and high‑quality reporting and insights. Role and Responsibilities As the Global HRIS Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for Workday and associated HR tech with key responsibilities being Workday System Operations & Maintenance, Data Governance & Reporting, User Support, Training & Global Service Delivery, Workday Module Ownership, Enhancements & Projects and Compliance, Governance & Vendor Management. Your core responsibilities will include: Global System Ownership - act as the strategic and operational lead for the Workday ecosystem, ensuring reliable and consistent performance across all global regions. Lead the configuration, governance, and continuous enhancement of key Workday modules, including HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation, Talent & Performance, and Recruiting. Annual Cycle Leadership - Manage the full annual performance management cycle, ensuring seamless alignment with global talent and total reward strategies. Champion data governance to ensure complete, accurate, and globally consistent data that complies with GDPR and other global privacy regulations. Drive Workday-related projects from end to end, including module rollouts, system upgrades, workflow automations, and change-management activities. Reporting & Analytics - Develop, maintain, and deliver high-quality Workday reporting solutions to provide actionable business insights. User Support & Training - Oversee the global HRIS ticketing system, providing timely resolution, root-cause analysis, and comprehensive training for HR teams and global users. System Optimization - manage ongoing system maintenance, monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement proactive technical solutions. Maintain strict governance practices, including security role management, audit readiness, and HRIS standards harmonization. Vendor Management - Serve as the primary liaison for Workday and third-party vendors, managing contracts, forecasting costs, and ensuring strict adherence to SLAs. What you’ll bring Extensive hands-on Workday experience within a complex, matrixed international environment. A Workday Pro Certification (Workday Pro Programme) is highly desirable. Technical Proficiency - Proven track record in Workday configuration, optimization, integrations, and data governance. Performance Cycle Expertise: Demonstrable experience successfully delivering and supporting global performance management and reward cycles. Strong background in service delivery and managing HRIS ticketing systems, incident management, and providing operational user support. Deep understanding of HR compliance, data privacy laws (including GDPR), and system security best practices. Vendor Relations - Solid experience in vendor management, including handling contracts, renewals, budgets, and holding partners to SLAs. Strategic problem solving and excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify root causes, evaluate ideas through a global lens, and design effective solutions. Global Collaboration - Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with a proven ability to partner, influence, and collaborate across diverse cultures and time zones. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
