Overview
The Children’s Home are mixed-gender, aged 8 - 17 years old. We provide support for the children in our care to achieve the best possible outcomes in education, health, social and fun activities, and to build positive and appropriate relationships. This role provides support to the Home's Manager and the Business Support Assistant Manager to maintain management information for the Head of Service. The post is a go-to point for help and support in administration and finance processes in a busy and fast changing environment. The role includes providing administrative support to the Children’s Home operational team.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative and financial support to the Home's Manager and the Business Support Assistant Manager to maintain management information for the Head of Service.
* Be a go-to person for help and support in administration and finance processes in a busy and fast changing environment.
* Provide administrative support to the Children’s Home operational team.
* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and financial processes.
* Manage your own time and workload to meet challenging deadlines.
* Demonstrate good communication and IT skills, with an ability to contribute to a team approach.
* Work confidently under your own initiative and independently to resolve a range of issues.
* Show a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Contribute to improving systems both in the Home and across the service.
