Job summary
This is a 6 month post as a LAS ST3 in Renal Medicine designed to equip the successful applicant to gain experience in Renal Medicine and thereby further their career in Renal Medicine.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be working with a team of Consultants, Specialty Doctors, Trust Doctors, Specialty Trainees, Core Trainees and Foundation Trainees. The responsibility of the LAS ST3 is to provide good clinical care in nephrology, dialysis and transplantation as directed by senior colleagues and clinical circumstances in line with the GMC'sGood Medical Practice.

The successful candidate will join a team of middle grade doctors including specialty trainees specialty doctors and such others as are in post. The fellows main duties will include providing inpatient cover on the renal ward, providing an outpatient service alongside consultants, providing a referral service to other specialties carrying out specific treatments and procedures (once adequately trained) following prevalent unit guidelines. * MBBS or equivalent
* Eligible for full GMC Registration via the PLAB test or MTI route (AoMRC) or completed all parts (1, 2 & PACES) of the Federation of Royal College of Physicians MRCP (UK) examinations with IELTS (UKVI Academic) requirements of GMC if relevant and EPIC verification of qualifications for international doctors depending on primary medical qualifications.

* Senior doctors will have appropriate skills & experience to demonstrate in the chosen specialty minimum equivalent to ST3.
