The Role:
As a Behavioural Buddy, you will provide vital 1:1 and small group support to our primary-aged boys with Autism, ADHD, and Learning Difficulties. Your focus will be on helping them develop positive behaviours, build social skills, and thrive within our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised behavioural support on a 1:1 and small group basis
Work closely with teaching staff and SENCO to implement individual behaviour plans
Encourage positive interactions and social development among pupils
Monitor progress and provide feedback to the wider team
Foster a nurturing, patient, and supportive environment
Who We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, and/or Learning Difficulties
Ability to build trusting relationships with children and understand their individual needs
Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
Enthusiasm to be part of a dedicated SEND team
Flexibility and resilience in managing challenging behaviours
