Role Overview
The Head of Global Partnerships is a senior leadership role with strategic and commercial accountability for the growth, performance, and governance of the One Global Partner Community. This role is pivotal in driving supplier revenue, expanding the TMC network, and ensuring operational excellence across the partnership ecosystem. As a key member of the leadership team, you will act as a People Leader and P&L Owner, responsible for delivering measurable ROI through strategic supplier relationships, partner engagement, and revenue-generating programs. You will also represent One Global externally, enhancing our brand and influence across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership & People Management
* Lead and inspire a high-performing team, serving as a role model for internal teams and external partners
* Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and execute strategies that drive supplier revenue and meet all commercial KPIs
* Represent One Global at industry events and forums, strengthening brand visibility and thought leadership
Network Growth & Partner Development
* Lead the full lifecycle of TMC partner recruitment—from identification and evaluation to contracting and onboarding
* Ensure new partners meet defined standards for global coverage, service quality, and strategic alignment
* Conduct structured, data-driven Partnership Reviews to assess performance, identify opportunities, and align on future plans
Supplier Management & Financial Performance
* Manage a portfolio of global supplier relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and revenue targets
* Drive adoption of preferred supplier programs across the partner network to maximize financial returns
* Oversee the end-to-end billing process in collaboration with Finance, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution
* Partner with Marketing to develop and deliver impactful supplier marketing campaigns
Engagement & Governance
* Maintain a 95%+ partner retention rate and ensure 100% participation in quarterly reviews and key events
* Organize and lead high-value regional and annual partnership meetings
* Identify and implement initiatives that enhance partner value and support internal sales efforts
Key Metrics of Success
* Network Growth: Achieve annual targets for new TMC partner recruitment and onboarding
* Revenue Delivery: Meet or exceed 100% of annual supplier revenue targets
* Partner Engagement: Maintain high retention and engagement levels across the partner community
* Operational Excellence: Ensure accurate and timely billing, with minimal discrepancies and strong cash flow performance
Candidate Profile
* 7+ years of experience in a global TMC or network environment
* Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage and inspire teams
* Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract and revenue portfolio management
* Deep understanding of global travel markets and regional business nuances
* Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills
* Strong project management and problem-solving capabilities
