We have an excellent opportunity for a Full/ Part Time Counter Assistant to join our pharmacy team.
This is a customer-facing role, ideal for someone who is organised, friendly, and committed to providing excellent service in a community pharmacy setting.
You'll be the first point of contact for customers, supporting the dispensary team and helping with over-the-counter sales and general pharmacy duties.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Greet and assist customers with over-the-counter medicines and general enquiries
* Provide excellent customer service in a professional and confidential manner
* Handle transactions accurately, including cash and card payments
* Support the dispensary team with stock management, receiving deliveries, and restocking shelves
* Comply with pharmacy regulations, data protection, and health & safety standards
* Promote pharmacy services (e.g. flu jabs, NHS services) where appropriate
Desirable (but not essential) Qualifications and Skills
· NVQ2 or NVQ3 in Pharmacy Services or accredited equivalent course along with a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
* Computer Literacy
* Excellent Communication Skills
* Fluent English
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time
Monday – Friday: 09.00 – 18.00
*Part Time hours will also be considered for this role*

Salary: Hourly rate is negotiable based on experience and responsibilities
