Asset Coordinator
Application Deadline: 18 November 2025
Department: Operations
Employment Type: Fixed Term - Full Time
Location: York Hub
Compensation: GBP 35,000 / year
Description
This role coordinates and manages assets across multiple UK Agri-Tech Centre Capabilities, tracking inventory and ensuring compliance. Key responsibilities include maintaining asset records, supporting procurement and disposal processes and analysing asset data to inform financial planning and improve operational efficiency.
You will also lead the introduction of a new technical asset management software system by developing processes and procedures, delivering rollout activities and training to UK Agri-Tech Centre staff to ensure consistent usage and high data quality. The role will begin with desk-based setup and governance, followed by regular site visits to support implementation and ongoing asset assurance.
This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract based in our York office, with three days a week on-site during the first month to help you settle in. After that, we're happy to explore flexible hybrid working arrangements that suit both sides.
This role offers the chance to get out and about, travelling across the UK to visit our UK Agri-Tech Centre Capabilities for audit purposes. During the audit phase, travel will typically involve two to three nights away every other week. Once the audits are complete, the role becomes mostly desk-based, with occasional site visits for follow-up actions.
You'll be hands-on in shaping the future of our asset management, combining fieldwork, new system implementation and the forefront of meaningful change.

* Conduct in-person asset audits at UK Agri-Tech Centre sites nationwide, coordinate with site teams to manage schedules and document repeatable, future-proof audit processes
