Principal Radiographer posts (2)
* 1 post Ninewells Hospital (Dundee) and 1 post Perth/Stracathro & satellite sites
* Band 8a - 37 hrs
* With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for individuals to apply for these Principal Radiography posts. One is based at Ninewells hospital and the other at Perth Royal Infirmary/Stracathro.
Responsibilities
This role will support the Imaging and Sector Managers lead and influence the day to day operational and clinical management of the NHS Tayside Imaging service in the relevant Sector. Ensuring standards of practice are maintained and staff governance standards are met. This post has also includes a clinical commitment.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate clinical and managerial experience in an Imaging environment, showing effective leadership, organisational, communication and workforce skills. Candidates will possess a post graduate qualification or equivalent qualification in an appropriate area of clinical or management practice, demonstrating evidence of continuous professional development. Applicants must be registered with the HCPC as a Diagnostic Radiographer.
