Are you passionate about improving mental health outcomes through evidence‑based psychological therapies? We have an exciting opportunity to train as a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) while working within the supportive and innovative team at Everyturns NHS Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Talking Therapies Service.
As a Trainee PWP, youll undertake a fully funded postgraduate qualification through the University of Lincoln, combining academic learning with hands‑on clinical experience. Youll spend one day each week attending university teaching, one day undertaking independent study, and the remainder of your time developing your clinical skills within our service under the guidance of experienced clinicians and supervisors.
Our experienced managers and supervisors are committed to supporting your development. We have an excellent track record of helping trainees successfully complete their studies and progress into qualified practitioner roles.
This role is not eligible for sponsorship as it does not meet the requirements set out by the UK Visa and Immigration Service.
Eligibility
We welcome applications from candidates who hold a Level 5 qualification or above. Applicants who have achieved a Level 3 or Level 4 qualification may also be considered, subject to successfully completing an academic assessment set by the University of Lincoln.
The programme is open to both undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. Typically, candidates applying through the undergraduate route will have previously studied at Level 5. However, applicants with Level 3 or Level 4 qualifications may be considered if you can demonstrate your ability to study at Level 5 through an academic task assessed by the programme team. Further information on qualification levels can be found on the UK Government website.
