Here's a bit more detail on what we see you doing in this role: Converting group and event enquiries into confirmed bookings through direct guest communication and relationship building Preparing tailored proposals that showcase Gleneagles Townhouse event spaces while meeting client objectives and budgets Planning, coordinating, and hosting site visits and pre-event meetings to ensure clients fully experience the Gleneagles offering Working closely with Food & Beverage and Sales teams to design, secure, and deliver exceptional events while driving revenue Collaborating with internal departments to ensure every event is customised and exceeds client expectations Liaising with the Membership team to ensure event enquiries align with member activity and protect the member experience Managing relationships with client agents to produce detailed event programmes that maximise facilities and budget potential Providing hands-on, flexible event support on the day, coordinating operational teams to ensure seamless delivery Handling client requests and challenges with professionalism and diplomacy, maintaining service excellence Actively selling and upselling services, adding the Gleneagles personal touch to encourage repeat and new business Ensuring accurate recording, processing, and presentation of all event charges and final accounts within agreed timescales Leading post-event debriefs with clients and internal teams to gather feedback, drive continuous improvement, and build long-term relationships Interacting with our members and guests, always warm, professional, helpful and doing everything you can to exceed their expectations; playing your part in making their stay with us luxurious in every way The kind of person we are looking for: Ideally you will already be based in Edinburgh and have previous proactive sales experience within the local market within Hospitality Venues such as hotels, restaurants and event venues.
