Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to conduct services and repairs on domestic gas appliances within social housing in Northampton. You will enjoy the convenience of a company van and fuel card, and benefit from a supportive work environment that values excellence and professional growth.
Responsibilities:
1. Service and repair domestic gas appliances and boilers
2. Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure optimal operation
3. Maintain and monitor the supply, stock, and use of materials
4. Participate in an ‘out of hours’ call out rota (every 1 in 4 weeks)
5. Act as a liaison between internal teams to promptly resolve property-related issues
6. Report any non-compliance or process failures to management
Skills and Experience Required:
* Previous experience as a gas engineer (minimum of 5 years)
* Excellent customer service skills
* Essential qualifications: CCN1, CKR1, HTR1, and CENWAT
* Experience in social housing (minimum of 3 years)
