Overview
The Division of Medicine and Unscheduled Care is delighted to advertise an exciting opportunity for two dynamic and innovative individuals to join our team as Assistant Support Managers. Both pathways comprise a wide variety of complex services delivering care to patients within inpatient and outpatient settings and across a number of sites throughout NHS Grampian and beyond. This is an excellent chance to build upon your experience in a fast‑paced, high‑profile service that represents a key performance area for NHS Grampian.
Responsibilities
* Delegated responsibility for day‑to‑day operational service management support across a range of services within inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Engage in service improvement work and drive innovation and change.
Qualifications and Experience
* Organised and adaptable with a proven track record of service delivery.
* Excellent people‑management skills.
* Experience in understanding and presenting data.
* Significant experience of collaborative working.
Interview Details
Interviews are planned for 2 March 2026, in‑person.

As from 01/04/2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata, but there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
