IT Systems and Business Process Trainer (Kidlington or Sulhamstead) – Thames Valley Police
Location: Kidlington or Sulhamstead
Responsibilities
* Deliver and develop IT Systems and Business Process classroom training for police officers and police staff.
* Identify and clearly articulate IT system faults and business process issues, collaborating with stakeholders to integrate new technologies.
* Ensure valid and reliable assessment standards are used when undertaking tutorials or conducting tests/exams and promote equality and fairness in the classroom.
* Design, implement, and maintain training courses to recognised force-wide and nationally approved quality standards; provide support in relevant curriculum areas and cooperate with other areas of the business.
* Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Welfare requirements while conducting training and maintain your own CPD by staying up to date with changes in procedures, policy and training methods.
* Adopt a flexible approach to working hours and travel to different locations within the force; have proven working knowledge of the IT systems and business processes included in the training portfolio.
* Plan and manage own workload and work to deadlines; understanding of Data Protection and Information Security legislation and issues is essential.
Qualifications
* Ideally you will have or be willing to work towards a QCF Level 3 Certificate in Learning & Development or equivalent.
* Excellent communication skills and experience in presenting.
