A successful Child Support Worker will be responsible for:
* Working effectively as part of a specialist team of support providers.
* Providing high-quality, 24-hour care to vulnerable young people.
* Supporting service users dealing with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD).
* Promoting independence by taking service users into the community and to school.
* Maintaining professional boundaries and upholding National Care Standards at all times.
* Working a flexible rota, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods.
To be successful in your application, you will:
* Have previous experience in a residential setting working with young people.
* Display a flexible and adaptable approach to your work.
* Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Be registered (or willing to register) under the PVG scheme.
* Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (essential for community access).
* Have obtained, or be working towards, an SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
