Key Responsibilities
As a Band 6 Paediatric Nurse, you will:
* Deliver high standards of nursing care to children and young people, ensuring safety, compassion, and clinical excellence.
* Support patients and families with the transition from paediatric to adult services, promoting independence and wellbeing.
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
* Act as a clinical role model, providing guidance and mentorship to junior staff and students.
* Support individuals with health-related appointments and care interventions, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
* Promote a person-centred approach and adapt to changing care requirements with empathy and professionalism.
* Manage and de-escalate behaviours of concern in a calm and supportive manner, maintaining a safe and positive environment.
