About the Job
Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Toolmaker to manufacture our injection moulding tools, working to exacting quality standards. This is a busy role where you’ll operate a range of toolroom machinery, including milling, grinding, turning, spark erosion, and laser welding, to produce and develop tooling from concept through to final sign‑off. You’ll be responsible for fitting and assembling new injection mould tools, ensuring each component meets specification and performs reliably in a production environment.
You will need at least a level 3 BTEC or equivalent Vocational qualification within Engineering or a transferable field to undertake this key role. You will be maintaining and improving existing tooling by carrying out repairs, modifications and providing ongoing support to injection moulding operations. You’ll need to confidently read and interpret technical drawings, identify issues, and implement effective solutions to keep production running smoothly. Attention to detail, problem‑solving and a commitment to high standards are essential, as is working in line with the culture and ethics of Games Workshop. If you are skilled in some, but not all, of the above machining techniques, full training will be given where necessary.
