Job Description:
LNT Care Developments are the UK’s leading Care Home developer and are looking to recruit a Pre-Construction Technical Coordinator to join our team.
Key responsibilities and capabilities:
1. Support the Pre-Construction function alongside the Technical Manager and Development Director.
2. Manage technical project documentation and undertake administrative tasks.
3. Assist in producing technical reports and contract drawings, requiring proficiency in CAD.
4. Review, interpret, and summarize drawings, specifications, site investigations, topographical surveys, ecological documents, and other assessment reports.
5. Identify financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.
6. Negotiate with statutory bodies on environmental, drainage, highways, and engineering issues.
7. Support project planning to ensure timelines and milestones are met.
8. Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals to ensure project success.
9. Participate in quality control, reviewing project deliverables for accuracy.
10. Attend internal launch and handover meetings with Planning and Construction teams.
11. Implement new ideas and seek improvements to contribute to organizational goals.
12. Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
13. Use initiative to gather project information and expand knowledge.
Knowledge & Experience:
1. Experience in pre-construction and development, preferably in Residential sector.
2. Experience coordinating multiple projects and handling volume.
3. Ability to prioritize, negotiate, motivate, and communicate effectively.
4. Good time management, organization, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Basic understanding of planning, financial, and legal processes.
6. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, and email is required.
